The Association promotes contacts and events related to musical tradition, as well as others centered around themes related to the Alpine World.
Addressing primarily young people, it works to raise awareness for the study of music and the cultivation of musical taste. It collects news, objects, documents, and photographs concerning the old agricultural-pastoral and musical culture of Quarna, and promotes initiatives aimed at enhancing the local Alpine tradition. The Association operates in an educational and moral capacity from school age, later reaching out to adults, teachers, technicians, musicians, and ethnographers.
From the Museum, a direct message is sent to both visitors and researchers, encouraging them to learn to respect the expressions of their past civilization and to feel a sense of duty to defend and preserve them with love.
It is a message for everyone: each person should draw from the experiences of the past the most human elements for the person of the future, so that they may benefit their whole being—physical, intellectual, and spiritual. Those who have no roots or reject them also have no future!
